Our studio is located in SE Calgary, in the Deer Ridge Community (just south of the Ikea). Our residential studio was designed to feel luxurious and grounding, with green and gold accents , grey and jewel toned significance as well. We have lots of parking outside of the home, our friendly black lab Sam will great you happily and be by your side to calm you (if you are scared of dogs please let us know so we can make other arrangements for him).
Every session comes with complimentary use of our client closet, whether it be a bodysuit, a body jewelry, a glam dress, or a tutu we got you covered with over 300 outfits (constantly growing) with sizes xs-6x.
Once your session is complete, Shannon will send you for a 1.5 hr lunch where you can decompress and relax while Shannon goes through your images. Shannon will take 400-500 images and meticulously narrow them down to around 45. She will soft proof them all and fully edit 2 images for you to see what the finished image looks like. Once complete she will welcome you back into the studio to review all of the images and to walk you through how to view your images 1 by 1 in a body neutral and positive way. We then go through the images with the sole purpose of giving yourself permission to love yourself - How powerful! Women are often shocked that they love so many images and feel many different emotions (all emotions are good emotions and however you react is okay).
